Hilti is extremely proud to have a long association with A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers. Since their
conception Hilti have supported Penny, Janine and Mark with equipment and product knowledge for
their business needs.
Penny and Mark brought valuable diamond cutting experience to New Zealand from the UK where
they were highly visible in the use of Hilti products within that market. Overall they have 20 years of
experience within this trade. When they arrived in New Zealand and started up their business they
instantly sought out Hilti in Oct 2006. I recall meeting Penny in our showroom and at first I was in
disbelief that this lady could even hold a small pneumatic drill let alone heavy diamond equipment.
This impression was short lived as conversations with Penny alluded to her wealth of knowledge of the
concrete cutting industry from the UK.
Since those early beginnings we have been privileged to be a supplier to A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers
and develop a successful relationship of end user and supplier. We have supported them within their
extensive coring service business, their wire and wall saw cutting business, and their Ferroscan
detection business.
Hilti's highly innovated products continue to support their business needs and we regularly get
customer acceptance and feedback on our innovations within new product development. Their
expansion within market has brought about self-employed trades people fleet leasing Hilti coring
equipment thus they are able to support A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers with their customer base and
project development.
Penny and Janine are known in the industry for taking on the then market leaders and turning their
area of field into a superior product and service know as A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers which can be
trusted time after time. Their rapid response and can do attitude within the industry is a testament to
what A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers stand for, nothing is ever a problem. They are by far the most
innovative progressive company within their industry and Hilti is extremely proud to be part of it.

A1 Kiwi Cutters and Drillers were used for night work on the motorway in a sensitive community. A quiet method for the removal of motorway barriers was required these guys were able to supply this with their wire saw at a very competitive price. Subject : Practical Completion - Mission Heights Schools Project
It gives me great pleasure to confirm that Practical Completion for the Mission Heights Schools project was issued on 20th January 2009.
The project has not been easy, with an extremely tight programme putting enormous pressure on design and construction teams in the consenting processes, tendering, huge bulk earthworks, retaining walls - and of course construction of nine buildings including surrounding siteworks.
On behalf of the Hawkins site team I would like to thank you and your team for the huge effort and commitment your company has put into the project which has contributed in making the contract such a success.
